SWEDISH refrigeration wholesaler G & L Beijer, owners of Dean & Wood, has completed its acquisition of United Refrigeration's wholesale operations in France and the UK.The acquisition announced on 1 September 2011, relates to two companies. United Refrigeration UK Ltd and Cofriset in France. In total both companies report sales equivalent to £59m (SEK 610m) and have 169 employees. G & L Beijer says the purchases will strengthen its position still further in the French and British markets. Following the announcement, United Refrigeration’s Commercial Director Andrew Powles said “We are delighted to be a part of Beijer Ref, which is a focused and dedicated Refrigeration and Air Conditioning company. We will be in contact with both customers and suppliers in due course to provide further details.”
